Whistle Dog

Due to popular demand among A&W fans, we brought back the Whistle Dog, and made a documentary about it.

A&W discontinued the Whistle Dog, a delicious hot dog nested in a toasted bun topped with relish, cheddar cheese, and bacon.

But over the next five years, an extremely vocal minority of superfans were doing everything they could to bring it back so we did by putting Whistle Dog fanatics into the spotlight, and immortalizing them into an 18-minute documentary filmthat screened at 28 film festivals worldwide.

To date, the Whistle Dog is the only discontinued A&W menu item that has been brought back by sheer fan demand.
